ECS's grand opening in Queen Anne was in November of 2010 and is still growing and thriving in the heart of the neighborhood today.
I am a New Orleans, Louisiana native that arrived in Seattle after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina struck the Gulf Coast. I had weight challenges when I was younger and decided to make a change in my early 20′s when I looked at the scale and saw 306 pounds. After joining Jenny Craig and having tremendous success I reached my goal of 180 pounds. Through dedication and diligence I have maintained my weight loss. With a degree in business and 15 years experience in the health and fitness industry; I am no newbie when it comes to managing, promoting, and exemplifying health. I work out for 2 hours every single day, Monday through Sunday. It doesn’t matter if it’s Zumba, Step, Cycling and/or Weight training, I just get it done. I also eat healthy about 6 times a day with small portions. It’s all about self-control. And of course a delicious smoothie helps!
My dream was to own a business by the age of 35 and not only did I believe it was going to happen but I achieved it as well. Seattle was the perfect place to start this business. I decided to write a business plan and apply to open an Emerald City Smoothie franchise. Guess what?! Emerald City accepted me! ECS’s grand opening in Queen Anne was in November of 2010 and is still growing and thriving in the heart of the neighborhood today. Some people ask me, what’s your favorite drink? I’d have to say the Pina Colada. It has real coconut, pineapple, mango, non-fat milk and protein. It is Very delicious with a tropical flair.
